One of the best changes to any motto in sports was made, oddly, by the International Olympic Committee, an organization that prizes tradition. The original slogan, in Latin, was Citius, Altius, Fortius, ("Faster, Higher, Stronger"), adopted all the back in 1894. In 2021, the IOC changed the motto of the Games to Citius, Altius, Fortius – Communiter.
