NCAA Events Are Up for Bid: Get Back in the Game

Russ Yurk presided over a webinar regarding bidding for events to take place this spring.
Ready for a quick-bidding opportunity? Who isn’t? How about one from the NCAA, to be hosted in 2021? A number of events are going up for bid, starting immediately, but hurry – deadline for all bids to be in is January 25, 2021.

Russ Yurk, founder of 129 Sports LLC, held a webinar on January 13 on the Sports ETA website for destinations interested in bidding. Additional information may be obtained at this NCAA link.

Wave #1 - Bids open January 11-25, 2021, with site announcements the week of February 8, 2021.

Steps to submit:

  1. Review and complete Bid Checklist items, including: submission of a proposed budget, facility profile, key contacts, venue safety and security plan, proposed hotel(s), proof of insurance, and other sport-specific items requested.
  2. Review Host Operations Manual
  3. Review and confirm ability to perform duties as noted in sport specific Return to Championships document.
