South Shore’s Premier Venues:


The Crown Point Sportsplex

The Crown Point Sportsplex is ready to host your next baseball or softball tournament. The 95-acre multi-use outdoor sports and event destination is conveniently located off I-65. The facility currently features two synthetic turf multi-purpose fields, 10 natural grass, illuminated fields, and a championship field with stadium seating. Accompanying these sports amenities, are two fully equipped support buildings that include restrooms, concessions and storage. The Sportsplex plays host to the NSA Girls Fastpitch B & C World Series, Game Day and USSSA baseball and softball tournaments, as well as a variety of other sports including football, lacrosse and soccer.

The Hammond Sportsplex

The Hammond Sportsplex is a 135,000-square-foot sports complex that opened in 2018. The facility features six hardwood basketball courts or 12 volleyball courts, two indoor artificial turf soccer fields and an elevated walking track. In addition, the facility features a large community room and the Union Bar & Lounge. This venue is perfect for volleyball, basketball, soccer, cornhole, pickleball, wrestling and more! The Hammond Sportsplex is host to the largest NCAA volleyball tournament in the country, the Midwest Region Crossover Volleyball Tournament.


Purdue Northwest University Dowling Park / John Friend Court

Purdue Northwest Athletics is a member of the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) and NCAA Division II. The John Friend Court (Hammond Campus) features three hardwood basketball courts. Additional amenities include a training room, concession stand, restrooms, water fountains, bleachers and PA system.


Make Waves Along The South Shore with Your Next TournamentDowling Park (Hammond Campus) is a comprehensive outdoor sports complex for both Pride Athletics and Hammond Parks and Recreation Department. The new athletic facility houses the playing fields for the Black and Gold’s baseball, men’s & women’s soccer, softball and men’s & women’s tennis programs. Dowling Park can host a variety of softball, baseball, soccer, lacrosse or tennis events.


PNW - Westville Campus features one gymnasium (which can be separated into two courts through the use of ceiling divider) and a beautiful Cross Country Course capable of hosting 5K, 6K, 8K and 10K racing events.
