Summer is for baseball and softball, and Firecracker Sports has made this the time to seek out some new host communities for the 25-plus showcase events it puts on annually throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions.
Information on Firecracker’s requirements, as well as the events it puts on, can be found in the official document that can be accessed at this link. While Firecracker can receive requests for information and proposals throughout the year, the deadline for those interested in hosting events in 2026 is August 31, 2025.

Facility Information:
Firecracker is willing to consider destinations with multi-field complexes as well as those with multiple venues scattered around the host destination. Use of multiple fields is often preferable because it enriches the experience for participants. Specific information on fields can be found in the official document.
Hotel Information:
A number of hotels is ideal, preferably located close to venues chosen. Hotels should be located centrally to the venue(s) being used; rough hotel room night use predictions are 225-550+ in year one, 800+ in year three and 1,200+ by the time the event hits maturity in the destination.
Firecracker Sports will handle logistics for participant and staff accommodations. Limited-service hotels with rates between $100 to $185 per night, and an adequate number of double-bed rooms are usually the most popular; however, the preference is to offer a wide range of lodging/accommodations both in style and price. Family-style resorts are also considered.
