Celebrating more than a decade of service to the sports event industry, The US Sports Congress attracts top level decision-makers from the world of amateur sport and sports events. The attendees of this unique conference are senior level executives, event owners, rights holders and top decision makers, as well as the destinations who desire to host their events and multiple suppliers to the industry.

?The US Sports Congress has created an environment dedicated to networking, generating strong partnerships that drive successful events and creating opportunities for all those attending.

Additionally, the US Sports Congress prides itself on providing insightful professional development sessions. Its presenters have included individuals from MLB, ESPN and the PGA TOUR. And right now, the US Sports Congress is seeking a host for its 2023 event. Your exclusive chance to bid starts here.

And since you want al the facts, here they are:

Dates: No earlier than the Monday following Thanksgiving; traditionally the USSC has been held the first or second week of December. Preference is for the first week.

Pattern: Friday - Wednesday

Partnership: Host organization will submit the bid and should include multiple options for housing and event space. US Sports Congress will work closely with the host organization to showcase the destination.

Potential host must commit to attend event the year prior to hosting the US Sports Congress and plan to sponsor the closing night’s reception.

Additionally, host will provide a mutually agreeable speaker for the year they are hosting and agree to host the opening reception as well as provide complimentary golf for the VIPs (Days 2 and 3) for 22 people. (Full information is available in the RFP).

Description: US Sports Congress includes educational sessions with a trade show and family-oriented activities.

2014 - Hilton DeSoto, Savannah, Georgia

2015 - Omni, Fort Worth, Texas

2016 - Sanibel Harbour Resort, Ft. Myers, Florida

2017 - Sheraton at Wrigleyville West, Mesa, Arizona

2018 - Hard Rock Hotel, Daytona Beach, Florida

2019 - Hilton Hotel, Columbia, South Carolina

2020 - M Resort, Las Vegas, Nevada

2021 - Hyatt Regency, Frisco, Texas

Bid Timeline: The bid timeline is as follows:

  • Bid timeline is subject to change. Bids will be accepted beginning in May (2021).
  • A short-list (2-3) of candidate cities will then be determined.
  • Site visit/s will be conducted in late September and October (2021).
  • A site will be selected following site visits leading to contract with property and Letter of Understanding with host destination
