As Vancouver prepares to serve as one of Washington’s official Fan Zones this June and July, the one-day event encourages residents and visitors to download the SEA&WIN app, explore the city, and compete for a chance to witness one of the world's biggest sporting events in person. The app was developed by SeattleFWC26, a local organizing committee for Seattle’s participation as one of the 16 host cities selected for the FIFA World Cup 26™.

“One of SeattleFWC26’s commitments is to ‘broaden the benefit’, meaning this world-class soccer tournament can positively affect small businesses, and leave a lasting legacy on the entire region, not just Seattle,” said Erica Lindemann, Director of Marketing at Visit Vancouver WA. “Launching this pop-up on National Travel and Tourism Week is a great way to showcase our city and get people excited about such a large event happening just three hours away.”

Event Highlights:

What to do: Locals and visitors alike are invited to download the SEA&WIN app and explore the 19 stops on the Vancouver Tour while playing mini-games and completing challenges to earn points, called “tickets.”

The first 10 people to visit the prize redemption booth at Pop-Local with a completed Vancouver Tour sticker, and who follow Visit Vancouver WA and Pop-Local on Instagram, will receive a limited-edition scarf.

Everyone who completes the Vancouver Tour sticker and visits the prize redemption booth at Pop-Local between noon and 4 p.m. will be entered into drawings for two tickets to the Bosnia and Herzegovina vs. Qatar match, one beacon, and two water bottles.

An assortment of stickers and SEAFWC26 logo pins will also be available (while supplies last) at the prize redemption booth.

Location: Outside Pop-Local on the Vancouver Waterfront (111 Grant St, Vancouver, WA 98660). Pop-Local is a designated Official Prize Redemption site within the SEA&WIN app.

“As a community-driven store, we joined SEA&WIN because it’s more than just a game,” said Jessica Chan, owner of Pop-Local. “It gets people out exploring the region, supporting local businesses, and connecting with the culture that makes Washington special. Being a Vancouver pickup spot lets us welcome that energy firsthand and turn it into real local impact.”

The SEA&WIN app is designed to build momentum for the 2026 tournament by rewarding fans for visiting local landmarks and completing challenges. By participating in the pop-up, Vancouver fans can start climbing the leaderboard before the tournament matches begin in June. The SEA&WIN app is live through July 6, with more opportunities to redeem “tickets” for prizes, including posters, tournament collectibles, and The Golden Ball (that comes with Grand Prize eligibility for stadium experiences for top-scoring players).
