Snohomish County's Sports Scene is Red Hot

This summer is shaping up to be one of the best for sports tournaments in Snohomish County. The array of tournaments being held throughout the county showcases the variety of tournaments we can host. With the great weather in the Pacific Northwest during the summer months outdoor tournaments are a huge hit.

Snohomish County is hosting 21 tournaments throughout the month of July. These tournaments will generate $9.1 million in visitor direct spending, generate 10,080 room nights and bring 38,860 visitors.

Several of the sports events are new to Snohomish County. These events are Grand Avenue Park & Downtown Everett Criterium, DYSports basketball tournaments, US Australian Football League Western Regional and WTA 1^st Annual Unity Invitational (basketball).
