Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, is upping its game with a new state-of-the-art 100,000-square-foot indoor sports facility designed to help expand sports tourism.

The $12.4 million facility will open in February 2015 adjacent to the Myrtle Beach Convention Center. The complex will include eight high school basketball courts and 16 volleyball courts, with full-length retractable curtains. Additionally, the courts are lined to provide 4 collegiate/professional basketball courts.  A café and retail area, and entertainment zone complete with a climbing wall and a 1,500-seat telescopic bleacher system round out the offerings in a space configurable for numerous indoor sports including wrestling, badminton, table tennis, billiards and gymnastics.
