Keystone State Games Ready to Kick Off in Luzerne County

Get ready for an unforgettable celebration of athletics. The 2025 Keystone State Games (the 43rd annual) are back from July 24-28 in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, offering over 20 sports in a festival that truly lives up to its motto: “Sports for Everyone.”

 

Scheduled Competitions Include:

Karate, Swimming, Flag Football, Masters Swimming, Football Combine, Basketball, Baseball, Bowling, Disc Golf, Field Hockey (July 30–31), Figure Skating, Gymnastics, Ice Hockey (tryouts underway), Tennis, Pickleball, Volleyball, Track & Field, Wrestling, Powerlifting, Cornhole, Darts, Table Tennis and Wiffleball.

 

Since its founding in 1981, Keystone State Games, Inc. has welcomed more than 500,000 amateur athletes of all ages to its events. Modeled after the Olympics, these Games are Pennsylvania’s largest annual multi-sport competition, bringing together athletes from across the Commonwealth—and beyond—to compete, connect, and celebrate the spirit of sport.

 

A Special Shoutout to our Senior Athletes!

The next PA Senior Games will be held in State College in 2026, serving as the qualifier for the 2027 National Senior Games. Best of luck to all athletes heading to Des Moines, Iowa for this year’s Nationals!
