The Eugene, Cascades and Coast region of Oregon continues to be a powerhouse destination for elite events. Known across the globe as TrackTown USA, the birthplace of Nike and the Running Capital of the World, Eugene is not only the epicenter of track and field, but a city that thrives on sport and competition and is literally a community of sports fans. 

Beyond track and field, other traditional sports like football, baseball, swimming and volleyball flourish in the region’s facilities and venues. Triathlons, trail runs and mountain biking abound in the miles and miles of natural courses. BMX, cycling and disc golf events are growing in size and number. The region is also host to water sports, including speedboat racing and world-class rowing.

The Eugene, Cascades & Coast Sports Commission actively seeks out new sports events for Lane County, maintains a database of sports venues, fields and facilities, and provides resources and services designed to help events and planners succeed. It is the first and primary point of contact for literally hundreds of sports events in the region.

From regional tourneys to international competitions, we have the experience, relationships and expertise to help make your sports event a success. We have extensive experience working with governing bodies, including World Athletics, USA Track & Field (USATF), USA BMX, USRowing, United States Tennis Association (USTA), Professional Disc Golf Association (PDGA), National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and more. This region, home to the University of Oregon Ducks and their avid fan base, is also committed to sustainability, accessibility and inclusion.
