Visit Fort Wayne and Turnstone are excited to welcome the National Dodgeball Association for the first time to Fort Wayne! These 2025 National Championships will bring 350 athletes to Fort Wayne for this unique sport this weekend, October 4 - 5.
Coming just days before the anticipated World ParaVolley Sitting Volleyball World Cup, this event shows the range of flexibility and capability of Turnstone as a premier sports event venue.
All teams will be traveling from West Virginia, Ohio, Michigan, Illinois, and Indiana. The Top 12 teams from the regular season have been placed into 3 pools of 4 teams. The top two teams from each pool are now coming for the Championship, with a single-elimination bracket. Other teams outside of the Top 12 are invited to attend as well and participate in their own separate event that is outside of the Championship.
Felix Perrone, National Dodgeball Association Treasurer says, "We couldn’t be more excited to be hosting a tournament in Fort Wayne. The city fulfills that special need for us being within a 4-hour drive of 75% of our player base, a smaller-sized city with a perfectly scaled airport, and an eager group of locals willing to help us out to make our event a success."
Matches will be played from 9:30am - 3:00pm on both Saturday and Sunday. The event is free to the general public to come enjoy the action as a spectator. There will be 16 teams from across the country representing East Lansing, Detroit, Akron, Grand Rapids, Lansing, Bowling Green, Virginia, Columbus, Streetsboro, Toledo, Atlanta, Los Angeles, and Wisconsin.
