The Blount County Economic Development (BCEDC), in partnership with the Blount County Commission and private contributors, is proud to announce the development of an exciting new regional sports complex that is set to transform the sporting landscape in our community.

The official vote to lease the property for the construction took place during the Blount County Commission meeting, marking the beginning of a project that promises to be a game-changer for sports enthusiasts of all ages.

The complex, which will be a hub for athletic excellence and community engagement, will feature a wide range of state-of-the-art facilities, including but not limited to basketball, volleyball, pickleball and soccer along with meeting spaces.

The BCEDC, along with the Blount County Commission, has long recognized the importance of promoting physical fitness, community bonding, and economic development. The development of this facility is a testament to their commitment to these goals.

Private interests have played a crucial role in making this vision a reality. Their generosity and support have been instrumental in ensuring that the complex meets the highest standards and offers a truly exceptional experience for all who use it.

This groundbreaking initiative reflects the dedication of all involved parties to enhancing the quality of life in Blount County and fostering a strong sense of community. The sports campus is expected to become a focal point for athletes, families, and sports enthusiasts from near and far.

Stay tuned for updates on the construction progress and join us as we look forward to the groundbreaking and grand opening of this remarkable sports complex, which promises to be a source of pride for our community.
