USRowing is excited to announce that WinTech Racing will be sponsoring STEM to Stern by donating two eights for use by middle schoolers across the country. WinTech made the donations at the 2022 USRowing Youth National Championships, becoming the first boat sponsor of the program.

"Having WinTech as a sponsor is going to support clubs that are doing incredible work in making rowing more welcoming," said STEM to Stern Director Will Bott. "I'm thrilled that we can partner with them to make rowing more diverse, accessible, and competitive."

WinTech's sponsorship of STEM to Stern includes 16 seats per year, with boats going directly to programs that need resources and have strong programming and impact. WinTech's 2022 boat donations went to Tacoma Rowing and to the original STEM to Stern program, Milwaukee Rowing Club.

"STEM to Stern is helping change our sport for the better by focusing on creating a diverse and inclusive environment for teams to grow on and off the water," said Brent Keuch, director of marketing at WinTech. "We at WinTech and King Racing are about getting more people on the water because this sport changes lives forever."

STEM To Stern, which currently operates in 23 rowing clubs in the U.S., provides a community-based approach that supports club leaders at partner organizations with the tools, community, and resources to break down barriers to rowing and provide high-quality, integrated, competitive rowing programs to athletes from diverse backgrounds. STEM to Stern relies on strong, generous partners to make this happen and could not be more grateful to work with WinTech Racing on providing equipment to partner clubs.
