U.S. Open of Grass Volleyball Adds Clinics by Misty May Treanor

The Waupaca Boatride Volleyball Tournament, known as the “U.S. Open of Grass Volleyball,” has added a new feature. The event, which is to be held is July 12-14 at Brighton Acres Grounds in Oshkosh, WI, will also include “Dream In Gold,” a series of developmental clinics hosted by Olympic Beach Volleyball Gold Medalist Misty May.

Saturday July 13
Misty May's Dream In Gold Junior Clinic
Open to all juniors, ages 10-18
10am-2pm
The Dream In Gold (DIG) clinics are hosted by Misty May together with several other pro beach volleyball players or coaches serving as assistant instructors. The clinic includes a one-hour bring-your-own lunch featuring a Q&A session with Misty.

Sunday July 14
Misty May's Dream In Gold Junior Series
Beach volleyball tournaments hosted by Misty May.  Junior girls and boys will have the opportunity to compete in various skill/age divisions, including U10, U12, U14, U16 and U18.

Waupaca Boatride Volleyball Tournament
Registration is now open for tournament which will feature over 3,000 players from around the country, competing on over 200 courts.  The tournament is July 12-14.
Both grass and sand volleyball will be offered, in various formats, including doubles, quads and triples, as well as various age groups.
Brighton Acres is a family-run property that features a bar and gym called The Sports Shed, as well as soccer fields and sand volleyball courts. The grass tournaments will be played on fields similar to what the event has been played on in the past

Sun. July 14, Coed Sand Doubles - 9:00am - Brighton Acres
Sun. July 14, Reverse Coed Quads - 9:00am - Brighton Acres
