The Sports Facilities Companies named Amanda Shank partner and executive vice president after more than nine years with Unrivaled Sports and its portfolio company Ripken Baseball. Shank most recently served as executive vice president of strategic initiatives at Unrivaled Sports, which was founded in 2024 by Josh Harris and David Blitzer.
Shank joins SFC as the company continues to expand its work as a leading resource for the management and development of sports, recreation, wellness, and events facilities. SFC provides planning, feasibility, development, and professional management services for community leaders and developers, with more than 100 managed venues, approximately 5,000 team members, nearly 30 million annual guest visits, and almost $1 billion in economic impact each year.
At Ripken Baseball, Shank helped drive growth across the organization’s youth sports business, including expansion strategy, venue development, new business verticals, strategic partnerships, and off-field revenue generation. She later held executive leadership roles with Unrivaled Sports following Ripken Baseball’s merger with Cooperstown All Star Village.
Shank previously spent more than 11 years with the NFL Players Association in licensing, business development, player services, and player marketing roles.
