USABA to Celebrate National Blind Sports Day on October 5

For the second straight year, the United States Association of Blind Athletes is coordinating with community-based partners across the U.S. to celebrate National Blind Sports Day, presented by Healthy Vision Association.

The event, scheduled for October 5 (and the week leading up to it), is a nationwide celebration showcasing the abilities, opportunities and awareness of sports for the blind. Sports and fitness activities include tandem cycling, goalball, yoga, beep baseball, gymnastics, kickball, running and many more.

Virtual 5k Option: Don't have a National Blind Sports Day event taking place in your area? USABA is proud to partner once again with Anthem Inc., on a shared 5k wellness experience to coincide with our 2nd Annual National Blind Sports Day on October 5. You can join the 5k from wherever you are and share the wellness experience together on social media using the hashtag #FitAnthem5k.
