With ten tournaments, including the granddaddy of them all, the Academy Sports + Outdoors Bassmaster Classic presented by Huk, you will compete by putting your knowledge of bass fishing combined with your gut instincts to the test.

Beginning with the first Bassmaster Elite tournament on Feb. 10 on the St. Johns River in Palatka, Florida, you can win cash and prizes, including lures, gear and apparel from the world’s leading fishing brand, Rapala, the legendary maker of premium lures, fishing tackle and accessories.

For 2022, Rapala Bassmaster Fantasy Fishing will award more than $90,000 in prizes. The 2022 Rapala Bassmaster Fantasy Fishing Grand Prize Winner will receive a trip to a to-be-determined location in South Carolina to fish with former Bassmaster Classic champion and current Bassmaster LIVE host Davy Hite. The trip will include round-trip, coach-class airfare (up to $500 in value), two nights hotel accommodations (up to $400 in value), one day of fishing with Davy Hite and $150 spending money.

In addition, the Grand Prize winner will receive: a $15,000 Bass Pro Shops gift card, $5,000 cash and a Rapala package that includes a Rapala hat, T-shirt and lures. Also, if the Grand Prize winner is a B.A.S.S. Member as of 6:00 AM ET on August 26th, 2022, he/she will receive an additional $500 Bass Pro Shop gift card. The total value of the Grand Prize is set at a minimum of $21,150 and a maximum of $21,650.

In addition to an exciting grand prize at the end of the season, players can win prizes for each event. Individual tournament winners receive a $2,500 Bass Pro Shop gift card, $1,000 cash and a Rapala prize package that includes a wide variety of products (Rapala lures, VMC hooks, Sufix fishing line, Storm lures, Terminator jigs and more). Also, if the individual tournament winner is a B.A.S.S. Member, he/she will be rewarded an additional $500 Bass Pro Shops gift card. The minimum value is set at $4,000 while the maximum can be $4,500, so even if you forget to set your lineup for an event or have a bad event, there’s still a chance to win in other events!

You don’t need to be a rabid bass angler to play either. Anyone can play – including your non-angler spouse or partner, friends, family members or co-workers. And best yet – it’s free. There is no entry fee to play! You can play on your own, or you can form your own league to play against your friends, family members or co-workers.

And it’s super easy to play. After you register to play, just select five pro anglers for each Bassmaster Elite Series event and the Bassmaster Classic. The winner of each Fantasy Fishing tournament is determined based on the real-life, on-the-water performance of the five bass pro that you selected for your fantasy fishing team. Points are awarded based on each angler’s final standings at the end of each Elite Series event. The 2022 Bassmaster Elite Series field consists of 94 anglers, including 13 new anglers who qualified via the 2021 Bassmaster Opens as well as the B.A.S.S. Nation champion.

“We’re so excited to be part of Rapala Bassmaster Fantasy Fishing again. It’s so much fun. We encourage all of our Rapala fans to join in on the fun,” said Matt Jensen, Rapala Director of Marketing. “It’s just like fantasy football. And we’re offering a ton of great prizes.”
