Abu Garcia and the Association of Collegiate Anglers announce the renewal of their partnership for the 2022 Bass Pro Shops Collegiate Bass Fishing Series. The continued support will consist of Abu Garcia’s presenting sponsorship of the Bass Pro Shops School of the Year program presented by Abu Garcia, as well as continued support for college anglers through a variety of programs and initiatives.

“We are excited to be able to continue our partnership in 2022 as the presenting sponsor of the Bass Pro Shops School of the Year program,” said Jon Schlosser, Sr. Vice President of Marketing for Abu Garcia. “The growth we are seeing in collegiate bass fishing among both participants and followers is amazing. These anglers truly embody the Abu Garcia Fish to Win mentality and we are excited to be able to offer them innovative products to help them take their fishing to the next level.”

“Abu Garcia continues its dedication to growing the sport of fishing through its constant support of youth anglers,” said Wade Middleton, ACA Director, and President of CarecoTV. “Abu Garcia has now been a partner of the collegiate series for 16 years, and the School of the Year race presented by Abu Garcia has grown into the most highly-coveted title in all of college fishing.”
