Cheerleaders and Dancers Invade Columbia, SC

Big-Time Cheerleading and Dance is coming to Columbia, SC. On January 8, 2011, JAMfest Cheer and Dance Events will host The New Year's JAM in Columbia at the Convention Center. Nearly 900 cheerleaders and dancers will "take the stage" for The New Year's JAM, a cheer and dance competition.

This event will feature more than 50 cheer and dance teams with athletes representing three states: Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina! Almost 1,500 spectators are expected to travel to Columbia, SC to watch these athletes compete for awards in their respective all-star and school divisions. Admission is free, and the event is open to the public.

Teams will compete at this "Mega-JAM Championship" for awards in their respective divisions and for overall Grand Champion awards. Each team will win a trophy regardless of place of finish. All first place teams will receive individual medals, and second and third place teams will receive ribbons.
