Brent Lonteen

Brent Lonteen became the President/CEO of the Peoria Area Convention and Visitors Bureau in Peoria, Illinois in October 2006. Before that, he capped a 16-year broadcasting career in television news as an award-winning anchor/reporter, and later, News Director at the CBS affiliate in Peoria.

Brent was recently named one of the Peoria Area's "40 Under 40" - an honor bestowed annually to 40 community leaders under the age of 40. He serves on numerous civic and charitable boards and committees, and coaches youth sports.

He and his wife Julie have three children: Dylan, Olivia and Jackson. They reside in Peoria.
