Baden Sports and the Columbia Empire Volleyball Association (CEVA) announced a multiyear agreement extending Baden as the region’s official indoor volleyball provider.

The extension builds on a partnership that began in 2014, and ensures Baden’s premium leather game ball, the Perfection® VX5EC, will continue to be used exclusively in CEVA’s annual Presidents Day Tournament and all championship events.

CEVA, representing one of the 40 regions of USA Volleyball, supports playing opportunities for thousands of girls, boys and adults throughout Oregon and Southwest Washington.

“We’re a company with deep roots in the Pacific Northwest, so supporting local athletes and organizations is something we take great pride in doing,” said Matt Holm, Vice President of Business Development for Baden Sports. “CEVA has been a terrific partner and we’re looking forward to continuing to provide the region with the very best volleyballs, customer support, and service for years to come.”

Baden’s Perfection VX5EC is the company’s top-of-the-line game ball, made with full-grain leather tanned for optimal touch and feel. Its internal construction features the lightest butyl bladder ever used for volleyball, a blended cotton wrap, and Baden’s Stealth Soft-Valve System™, which reduces the amount of exposed valve rubber for a softer feel and maximum playability.

Baden’s custom volleyball program also is unmatched in the industry. Baden offers point-of-production customization from its factory in the Dominican Republic for more options, shorter lead times, and lower minimums. Coaches can get a wider selection of colored layouts, bigger designs, debossed logos, and foiled detailing in as few as 60 days, and with minimum orders as low as 24 balls.

“Baden and CEVA share the same passion for a better game,” said Jeff Mozzochi, Executive Director of CEVA. “The Baden team has done an amazing job for us and we are delighted to extend our partnership with them.”

Baden also is the official indoor volleyball of the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) and provides the official ball to many state high school associations and club programs nationwide.

The Perfection VX5EC can be purchased, along with Baden’s high-quality volleyball carts and accessories, through team dealers, local Baden sales representatives, online, or at major retailers. For more information, visit www.badensports.com
