Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) announces the launch of PTRtennis.tv this week to provide an online educational resource available to everyone.

As a professional organization, PTR’s goal is to provide its members with educational and continuing education opportunities.

Valuable educational content is being presented by top rated speakers at PTR events around the world, but only those in attendance benefit from it.  With ever increasing job demands, it can be difficult for teaching professionals to attend the PTR Symposium, one of the PTR Conferences or PTR Professional Development courses.

These events provide valuable information that helps participants improve their skill set and knowledge to better perform their jobs.  PTRtennis.tv provides an affordable way to view some of these presentations, and PTR members get a significant benefit.

Currently, there are 20 presentations available on PTRtennis.tv.  Most are one hour, but three hour presentations are also available.  Once a presentation is downloaded to a computer, smartphone or tablet, it can be accessed at the viewer’s convenience - 24 hours a day, seven days a week, without expiration.

The initial videos are presentations from Directors of Tennis, 10 & Under Tennis Conferences and PTR Symposium.

PTR will continually upload new videos as lectures are taped during PTR educational events around the country.  At least three more events will be filmed this year:  the PTR Midwest Conference in early August, as well as the Directors of Tennis Conference and Junior Development Conference, both set for October.

“PTRtennis.tv was the brainchild of Jorge Capestany, a PTR International Master Professional and Chairman of the PTR Education Committee,” explained PTR CEO Dan Santorum.  “We also partnered with Adam Ford, of Baseline Video, to help bring this convenient and effective new resource to PTR members worldwide.”

PTR is the largest global organization of tennis teaching professionals with more than 14,600 members in 117 countries. It has the greatest percentage of multicultural and women members of any such organization.  PTR is dedicated to educating, certifying and servicing tennis teachers and coaches around the world in order to grow the game.
