Wisconsin Closes Out a Summer of Golf Action

The Wisconsin Section of the Professional Golfers’ Association of America (WPGA) closes out the 2025 Wisconsin State Open Series at Destination Geneva National – Player Course (Lake Geneva).
 

• September 2-3 – 41st Wisconsin State Senior Open at Destination Geneva National – Player Course (Lake Geneva)

The  final event in the three tournament State Open Series is the 41st Wisconsin State Senior Open on September 2-3, hosted on the Player Course at Destination Geneva National. After the Wisconsin State Open took place on the Trevino and Palmer courses at Geneva National in 2019, it is now time for their third 18-hole layout to shine. Mick Smith (Summit) will be back to defend his title, as he has produced a solid start to 2025, after making the 36-hole cut at the Senior PGA Championship in late May.
