Wisconsin PGA Section seasonally hosts special golf events and lessons for veterans and active military members free of charge as part of the PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere) initiative focused on enhancing the physical, mental, social, and emotional well-being of veterans through golf. PGA HOPE Wisconsin is the flagship military program of PGA REACH Wisconsin. Only Wisconsin PGA members and associates certified through the PGA HOPE training program are able to teach the PGA HOPE clinics.
2023 PGA HOPE EVENT SCHEDULE
PGA HOPE Wisconsin “Intro to Golf” for Veterans
Tuesday, May 30 - 11am to 12:30pm
This one-day clinic is hosted annually in timing with Memorial Day on Tuesday, May 31 from 11am-12:30pm. Registration limited.

Memorial Day At The Legend Clubs
Tuesday, May 30
An annual tradition, WPGA member Jack Gaudion, PGA, Owner of The Legend Clubs, 2020 and 2022 WPGA Patriot Award Winner and avid supporter of veterans and their families, invites veterans to enjoy a complimentary round of golf during Veterans Play Free Day at The Legend Clubs on Tuesday, May 30 (based on availability). All four of The Legend Clubs will open its courses to veterans. A simultaneous moment of silence will be observed across all properties. Veterans are encouraged to call the golf course(s) directly to book a tee time.

Throughout the golf season, PGA golf professionals host special lessons for veterans. PGA HOPE Site Locations offer multi-day golf clinics. Dates and times are listed on www.wisconsin.pga.com/pga-hope/
Future PGA HOPE Event Announcement:
On Friday, September 22, all 2022 and 2023 PGA HOPE graduates will be invited to the Wisconsin PGA’s first annual “PGA HOPE Wisconsin Cup” at Brown Deer Park Golf Course in Milwaukee. The nine-hole event will serve as a celebratory year-end event complete with prizes, lunch and guest speakers. The 2023-2024 PGA HOPE Ambassador will be announced. Veterans are able to register at no cost due to the graciousness of those involved with PGA REACH Wisconsin.
