Styled After Pamplona Event (Sort Of), Annual Run Includes Chasing Shopping-Cart 'Bulls'

According to an article in The Queen Anne View,

The flyers have hit the streets once again! The bulls are coming! Helping celebrate the fiestas of San Fermin in Pamplona along with general good fun and imbibing of spirits, the 7th Annual Queen Anne Running of the Bulls is held on Saturday, July 9th.

The run starts at the Paragon around 1pm, but that’s a rough guideline, as the race kicks off when everyone is ready. Runners gather at the Paragon prior, then race to Kerry Park with shopping cart bulls in tow. (See the photo at left for an illustration).

This year, the run coincides with Queen Anne Days. Early birds can run the Crown of Queen Anne Fun Run in the morning, hit the carnival at the Queen Anne Community center, grab some fuel, and run again, with the bulls this time, at 1pm. Or, late risers can get up, brunch, and run for their lives!
