Visually Impaired Paddlers to Compete in Event
Double Fifth Dragon Boating has announced the Western Regional Dragon Boat races at Vancouver Lake August 1st and 2nd.
A visually impaired paddler (VIP) division will be contested at those races.
Blind Start from Long Beach, CA will compete against Portland team Wasabi VIP. They are competing for a berth in the 2016 World Dragon Boat Championships in Australia.
Another Portland team, Blind Ambition, will compete as a festival team.
