Top Talent to Compete at Rock N' Roll Classic

The Rock n' Roll Classic, hosted by Naydenov Gymnastics, will showcase some of the best gymnasts in the Northwest Jan. 23-25 at the Clark County Event Center. The event is open to the public, and tickets are available at the door.

"We are excited to welcome back the Northwest's gymnastic community to Vancouver USA," said Brad Updike, sports development team member for Vancouver USA Sports. "Vancouver's many venues are well equipped to host a wide variety of sports events."

Competitions will begin at 10 a.m. Jan. 23 and 8 a.m. Jan. 24-25. More than 750 gymnasts will showcase their strength, flexibility, power, and balance through such activities as uneven bars, floor routines, balance beam and vault.

"The Rock n' Roll Classic is one of the largest gymnastics meets in Washington," said Renee Weaver, meet director. "What sets us apart from other meets is the fact that we reward all gymnasts for their efforts, not just their abilities."
