Relive the suspense and excitement of Olympic skating this October at Angel of the Winds Arena in Everett, beginning October 18.

Skate America, produced by U.S. Figure Skating, is the first event in the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating Series. Sixty athletes from more than 10 nations – including some of this year’s Olympic stars – are expected to vie for top honors in ladies, men’s, pairs, and ice dance during the three-day competition. Other stops on the Grand Prix Series include Skate Canada, Rostelecom Cup, Trophee de France, Cup of China and NHK Trophy.

Everett still holds the highest attendance record for Skate America. Will this year’s event break that 2008 record? Past Skate America titlists include five-time world champion and two-time Olympic medalist Michelle Kwan and Olympic champions Kristi Yamaguchi, Scott Hamilton, Evan Lysacek, and Meryl Davis and Charlie White. Though the official roster of competing athletes will be announced in July, you can bet we’ll see many of the world’s top skaters compete this October.

Skate America will include five total sessions over the three days of competition. All-event tickets are currently on sale at the Angel of the Winds Arena website and box office.
