The American Cornhole League Comes to Washington State for the First Time

The American Cornhole League (ACL) is coming to Everett, Washington for the first time. The event will be at the Angel Of The Winds Arena. The competition begins Friday, June 24th with the Pro Shootout #4 and the Bacardi Spiced ACL Open #15 starting Saturday, June 25th and plays through Sunday, June 26th.

 

The Pro Shootout #4 event will feature the best cornhole players in the world squaring off for a chance to make it to the $500,000 ACL Pro Shootout Championship. This event will be aired on CBS Sports broadcast at 6:30 pm local (9:30 EDT).

 

Local ACL Pro Dean Norton will be competing in the ACL Pro Shootout Tour in Everett. ACL Pro Norton is from the ACL Northwest Conference. He first started playing cornhole about 2 years ago in the backyard. His cornhole achievements include several Conference Advance Championships and Washington State Championships. In 2021, Dean won the Advanced Blind Draw World Championship at the 2021 ACL World Championships in Rock Hill, SC.

 

Tickets are on sale for the public to come out and watch the ACL Pros battle it out. Advance general admission ticket price: $8 plus fees; Day of general admission ticket price: $14 plus fees; Advance VIP Ticket price: $29 plus fees. The Bacardi Spiced ACL Open #15 event will be open to the general public, and feature Singles and Doubles tournaments for all ages and skill levels to compete. Play begins at 9 am local time. People may sign up in advance or stop by on Friday night to sign up for any tournaments playing on Saturday and/or Sunday. Each ACL Open event is comprised of players of all skill levels and ages competing in multiple tournaments.
