Round Rock is open for business!  We have gone above and beyond to take the necessary precautions to maintain a safe environment for our players and visitors. At the beginning of the pandemic, we deep cleaned all of our facilities and have continued to maintain that level of cleanliness throughout our reopening in May. We were booked through the end of 2020 with events, and 2021 is shaping up to be a banner year!

Known as the Sports Capital of Texas, Round Rock is the ideal destination for planners and athletes alike because of our world-class facilities, tournament hosting capabilities and post-game entertainment.

Round Rock’s impressive lineup of state-of-the-art indoor and outdoor sports venues allows for sports planners to host any event in this Central Texas city. Planners who are looking to host an outdoor tournament run to the Round Rock Multipurpose Complex. This 60-acre complex boasts four natural grass multi-purpose fields, four synthetic turf multi-purpose fields, one natural grass championship field and one synthetic turf championship field. Whether you are hosting a soccer, football, Ultimate, rugby or lacrosse tournament, this facility has all of the amenities you need for a winning event.

Host your next indoor event at the Round Rock Sports Center, a premier indoor facility with 82,800 square feet of indoor space with 47,775 square feet of open, playable space. This facility hosts tournaments ranging from basketball to table tennis thanks to the unique configuration opportunities. Baseball athletes and fans alike love Champion Fields at Old Settlers Park. Team members can practice their swing in the 18 batting cages before hitting a home run on one of the 20 baseball fields.

Our facility capabilities, as well as our all-star team, are why Round Rock can host any sporting event seamlessly. Over the past three years, Round Rock has hosted a combined 11 national events like the 2019 USA Ultimate D-I College Championship and the 2019 NIRSA National Soccer Championships. Players and planners appreciate Musco sports lighting on all 10 of the Round Rock Multipurpose Complex fields, ceiling-mounted basketball hoops, volleyball standards and divider curtains at the Round Rock Sports Center, an abundance of parking at all facilities, and more.

Our staff has an extensive background in sports with master’s degrees in sports management and are always thinking three steps ahead to ensure a smooth event. With our pandemic sanitation protocols and our teamwork, we are confident that our all-star reputation will shine in upcoming tournaments.

While the pandemic has brought about unexpected challenges, Round Rock offers a variety of attractions that allow visitors to relax and have fun. One of the most highly anticipated adventures has been Round Rock’s new Kalahari Resorts & Conventions. Opened in November 2020, this authentically African-themed resort is the home of America’s largest indoor waterpark. Visitors can make a splash on the resort’s 30 waterslides, practice their gaming skills at the 80,000 square-foot indoor adventure park, Tom Foolerys, rejuvenate at Spa Kalahari and Salon, and much more! When you need a little fresh air, unwind with a round of golf at Round Rock’s pristine golf courses. You can even catch a foul ball at Dell Diamond. Home to the Round Rock Express, the Triple-A Minor League baseball affiliate of the Texas Rangers, this stadium allows for amazing close-up views of the action.

Round Rock is proud to be the destination for amateur, youth, and recreational sports within Texas and beyond. We love watching athletes compete in our facilities and welcoming visitors to our city. Go Round Rock! SDM
