SPORTS
Home to the Athens Teenage Baseball Association, Coleman Park hosts games throughout the year and focuses on family friendly fun! For several years, Dixie League State Tournaments have been held at Coleman Park, and the Dixie Baseball 7U, 9U, and Majors State Championships will be held in Athens on June 30th – July 3rd and July 7th-10th. Coleman Park also offers a children’s play area equipped with playground equipment perfect for little brother or little sister to enjoy as well as a pavilion that is open year-round for park patrons to utilize.

RENOVATIONS
There have even been quite a few recent improvements to the park that only further enhance the atmosphere. A newly renovated concession stand will keep anyone’s hunger and thirst at bay, with plenty of snacks and treats to make a day at the ballpark a great one. Brand new brick dugouts and backstops were added and new netting was installed, leaving the park with a fresh new look that you just have to see in person. The restrooms were also remodeled when the changes were being made, so every family present can count on cleanliness since it is a number-one priority!
