West Texas outdoor sports venue Cyclone Ballparks has signed a partnership agreement with Denver-based independent oil and gas company PDC Energy (PDC). The 120-acre ballpark, which opened in August of 2021, has hosted tournaments with hundreds of teams in their five-diamond field venue, as well as community events showcasing concerts, holiday events, and more. Cyclone Ballparks serves Pecos and Reeves County through these events and is a platform for local partners to showcase their brand to the audiences it attracts.
With an office in Midland, TX, PDC Energy focuses on the responsible development of natural resources in some of the most prolific oil and gas regions in the United States. Specifically, in the core of the Wattenberg Field in Colorado and the Delaware Basin in West Texas, making them an ideal partner of the Ballparks as a local provider.
“We are thankful for PDC’s partnership here in Pecos,” says Cathy Garcia, Cyclone Ballparks’ GM. “Together, we can do a lot for the community to ensure that our Ballparks are utilized to their highest potential. We choose partners that believe in our vision to bring Pecos the best events and community activation possible.”
Glen Morrison, PDC Land Supervisor adds, “At PDC, we recognize the impact that a venue like Cyclone Ballparks can bring to West Texas, and we gravitate toward their purpose. We are proud to support a community like Pecos and provide a safe, beautiful space for youth to play and compete.”
Cyclone Ballparks hosts regional and national outdoor events at their five-diamond venue and they are currently booking for 2022 and 2023. To book with the venue or learn more, visit playpecos.com.
