The Sports Facilities Management (SFM), corporate management group for Rocky Top Sports World in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, hosted the 2nd Annual Leadership Summit in Clearwater, Florida. The event invited SFM managed venues from across the country to collaborate for the continual improvement of youth sports and to evaluate industry trends.
Summit activities concluded with the Awards Ceremony, which highlighted individuals and venues for their performance in the goals and missions of SFM. Rocky Top Sports World took home two awards: the ‘Service Award’ and the ‘Excellence Award’.
The ‘Service Award’ was presented to the venue who has continually devoted time and resources for the betterment of their local community, has unmatched guest service, and exceptional reviews from both a local and national level. The ‘Excellence Award’ is the SFM award for overall facility success that encompasses many elements including superior leadership and accountability, extraordinary team collaboration and performance, and a strong client relationship.
