TNT Sportsplex was the site of exciting tournaments and camps that brought in over 10,000 spectators and athletes to the tri-cities area since January 1st. Over 350 teams assembled on the courts of the TNT Sportsplex to compete in a multitude of sports competitions from basketball to volleyball and beyond.

“We set high expectations for the number of visitors we can bring to the area through our sports events, but even we were shocked at the amount of people drawn here by the amazing events and camps we are conducting at our location.” says Chris Kudera, Sportsplex GM. “The different levels of tournaments, the dedication in offering a wide variety of events, and the skillsets we are bringing to the local youth and adults are exciting to see.” He went on to add that the economic impact of the number of guests at their facility brings the TNT Sportsplex team great pride.

In addition, the Sportsplex welcomed premier athletes to conduct camps and teach highly specialized skills to the community. Since the beginning of the year, TNT Sportsplex has offered camps with WNBA superstar Alexis Hornbuckle, University of North Carolina basketball talent Ed Cota, Tri-Cities basketball star Mac McClung and more. Over 1,000 athletes attended and benefitted from these skills camps held at TNT Sportsplex. The most recent camp was held in conjunction with Middle Tennessee basketball player Courtney Whitson on May 8th. Together with Sports Facilities Companies (SFC), which oversees the project in partnership with the Tincher and Thomas families, TNT Sportsplex is now taking registrations for camps this summer.

TNT has hosted, and continues to host, summer programs including:

  • APVA Skills Camp May 20-22
  • Little Dribblers May 31st – June 23rd
  • APVA Beach Volleyball League June 2nd-July 29th
  • APVA 4v4 Volleyball Tournament June 6th -- June 17th
  • Skills camps with Tennessee Volunteer player John Fulkerson – June 18th
  • Basketball camp with WNBA star Alexis Hornbuckle – June 7th
  • Skills camp with Minnesota Timberwolves player Will Avery – July 18th – 20th

The Sportsplex is also an ideal location for events and parties. You can book up to two hours for a reservation with ample time for activities on the court. Families looking for a birthday party destination may reserve a date to host their event online or by phone.
