VisitGreenvilleSC Hires New Sales Talent

VisitGreenvilleSC (VGSC), a leading and award-winning destination marketing organization in the Southeast United States, announces the hiring of top new sales talent for the destination with the hires of Mark Lupfer and Robin Wright and the reassignment of Diane Wilson. Under the direction of Joe Kramer, VP of Sales for VGSC, the new sales team is responsible for bringing conventions, meetings and sporting events/tournaments to Greenville, SC.
Mark Lupfer joins VGSC as a Senior Sales Manager, charged with handling the Corporate and Association market segments with a select emphasis on the Automotive, Engineering and Manufacturing industries. A 25 year veteran of the hospitality industry, Mark formerly was a Global Account Executive with Conference Direct and brings significant hotel sales experience to Greenville having served resorts/hotels across the Southeast (including Hilton Head Island and Charleston), the South Atlantic and Hawaii. Mark is originally from the Northern Virginia area, has family in Aiken, and formerly served in the United States Marine Corps.
Robin Wright, assigned to Sports and select Primary market segments, joins VGSC as a Senior Sales Manager. She comes to VisitGreenvilleSC by way of Visit Jacksonville where she was a National Account Manager with notable sports sales achievements including USA Track and Field National Junior Olympic Championships, NCAA D1 Basketball among many others. Robin additionally has served several Southeast hotels in a sales capacity. Originally from Charleston, Robin also has family in nearby in Anderson.
Diane Wilson, a 19 year veteran of VisitGreenvilleSC, looks forward to bringing her experience and knowledge of Greenville to the sales team as she moves to a Senior Sales Manager position with a core focus on the Religious, Education and State Association market segments. Originally from Southern California, Diane’s prior sales experience includes 15 years as a travel agency manager/owner.
