VFTCB Hosting First In-Person Meeting - With Olympian as Speaker

Friday, October 28: VFTCB to release annual report to show the impact of the tourism industry in Montgomery County, PA at event

 

WHO:              Carli Lloyd, Two-time Olympic gold medalist, two-time FIFA Women's World Cup champion, two-time FIFA Player of the Year, and a four-time Olympian

10:30 a.m.: VIP guests/sponsors arrive for exclusive, invite-only photo-op with Carli Lloyd 

            *Carli Lloyd will not be available for individual interviews

11:00 a.m.: Reception, refreshments, photo opportunities including 360 photobooth

12:00 p.m.: Program begins

1:15 p.m.: Elmwood Park Zoos Wild After Party

 

WHAT:              On Friday, October 28 the Valley Forge Tourism & Convention Board will welcome 450 attendees to host first in-person Annual Luncheon event in three years. The VFTCB will release its 2022 Annual Report highlighting the positive economic impact of the tourism industry in Montco, reporting levels close to 2019, and a joint Montgomery County Community College scholarship announcement from former VFTCB President & CEO, Paul Decker, and the VFTCB.

 

Keynote speaker and two-time Olympic gold medalist, Carli Lloyd, will speak about overcoming obstacles on and off the field, being a woman in the world of sports, giving advice to kids in youth sports, and more. Besides the Sixers Stixers, and fun with Monty the Fox, guests will be welcomed to a reception of networking, live music, appetizers, and photo opportunities including life-size letter backdrops and a 360 photobooth, to kick off the event. Program voiceovers will be performed by former Sixers announcer Marc Zumoff. Guests are then invited to Elmwood Park Zoos Wild After Party to help celebrate the Zoos upcoming centennial with painted performers and stilt walkers.
