Spikeball Tournament Series to Debut in Erie this Weekend

The Erie Sports Commission (ESC) will welcome the Spikeball Roundnet Association to Erie for the first time this weekend, as the organization hosts a Spikeball Grand Slam Tournament at ERIEBANK Sports Park, June 19-20.

Spikeball is the fastest-growing sport among millennials, with more than 150 million games played and more than 20 million players around the globe.

The Erie tournament will feature more than 200 players in a variety of divisions.

Round robin pool play will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday, June 19 and conclude at approximately 5 pm. Tournament play will resume on Sunday, June 20 and conclude at approximately 3 p.m.
