The Erie Sports Commission will host and support 10 hockey tournaments in the 2019-2020 season, including five new events. The events are expected to generate an estimated $1.9 million in economic impact to the Erie region.

Tournament Cup Series (TCS) Hockey will kick off its season with the Erie Ice Cup Sept. 13-15 at Erie Insurance Arena, ERIEBANK Sports Park and the Mercyhurst University Ice Center. The event will feature separate tournaments for AAU and USA Hockey sanctioning. More than 40 teams are registered to compete, more than tripling the number of participating teams from the 2018 tournament.
