The tournament is open to boys and girls teams in divisions from U8 through varsity. Each team will play a minimum of five games.

Lax Bash Tournaments is the fastest-growing lacrosse tournament provider in the midwestern United States, with more than 12 tournaments hosted annually in four states.

Lax Bash Tournaments was founded in 2011 by Brian and Michael Kaminskas, and is dedicated to providing a superior tournament experience for teams, coaches and fans.

“Lacrosse is growing rapidly across the country, and a sport that we’ve seen great potential for in Erie,” said Mark Jeanneret, executive director of the Erie Sports Commission. “We are thrilled that Lax Bash Tournaments have chosen to host a tournament in Erie. Traveling teams can get here easily, and will find so much to do outside of their games. We’re looking forward to working with Lax Bash to make Erie a premier destination for lacrosse!”

“We are excited to bring our latest event, Gem City Lacrosse, to Erie,” said Brian Kaminskas, owner of Lax Bash Tournaments. “We are always on the lookout for exciting cities and great venues that we can offer to our participants. Erie has so much to offer off the field and in between games to keep our families busy and having fun. We are looking forward to a great event in July, and a long-term partnership with the Erie Sports Commission.”
