Lake Erie and numerous rivers provide refreshing natural venues for water-based sports. Multiple fishing tournaments are hosted each year. The area can host land-based events as well. Walking, running and cycling events can be routed through picturesque backroads and shorefronts. Gymnastics, dance and, bowling competitions are welcomed year-round, with indoor venues large enough to handle most group sizes.
