Greater Raleigh Announces Fall, Winter Sports Events

The Greater Raleigh Sports Alliance has announced its calendar of fall and winter sports events.

The area will host a wide range of tournaments and championships this fall and early winter, including the following:

CIAA Cross Country Championships (Oct. 30 at WakeMed Soccer Park

N.C. High School Athletic Association (NCHSAA) State Championships in women's tennis, men's soccer, volleyball, cheerleading and football

Pop Warner Mid-South Football and Cheerleading Championships (Nov. 27-29 at the Raleigh Convention Center and various football fields)

Nike Cross Nationals Southeast Regional Championship (Nov. 29 at WakeMed Soccer Park)

HighSchoolOT.com Holiday Invitational Basketball Tournament (Dec. 26-30 at Broughton High School).
