Little League Softball World SeriesGreenville is a growing and thriving university-medical city, and a hub of educational, economic and cultural activity in Eastern North Carolina. Not to mention a sports LOVING city!

Our entire Greenville-Pitt County community welcomes and supports the many sporting events that we host throughout the year, and we work hard to help sports travelers feel at home and play it up! Greenville is the new home of the Little League Softball World Series, and in 2021 we hosted this tournament for the first time at Stallings Stadium at Elm Street Park in the heart of Greenville. Our Greenville team pulled together to ensure these young athletes and their families had fun on and off the field!

Play Greenville, NC Sports has established partnerships with East Carolina University, the Greenville Recreation & Parks Department, and the Greenville Convention Center Campus allowing us to host events at state-of-the-art D1 fields and facilities, utilize Greenville’s 25+ parks and recreation facilities, access 91,000 square feet of flexible indoor event space, and more!

After competition is over, sports travelers can explore Greenville-Pitt County! Explore our vibrant Uptown Greenville District with its local restaurants, breweries, museums, art galleries, and more. Find relaxation at the Greenville Town Common and Greenville Greenway, and adventure on the Tar River, and at River Park North and Wildwood Park. Venture further into Pitt County and find our legendary Eastern NC BBQ joints, local farms and creameries, and much more!

Key Greenville-Pitt County Venues:

ECU North Recreational Complex is a beautiful multi-use facility, located 10 minutes from the heart of ECU’s Main Campus and the thriving Uptown District. The facility has eight multi-use natural grass fields, which can be configured to accommodate soccer, flag football, lacrosse, Ultimate and rugby. On the property, there are two structures; the Boat House and the Field House. The Boat House overlooks a 6-acre pond that can be used for fishing or boating, as well as a beach area. The Field House is located next to the eight fields and has a covered picnic area, as well as restrooms. In addition to this, NRC also has six walking/running trails, one 5k running trail, an 18-hole disc golf course and a high ropes course that finishes with two 300-ft. zip lines.

Stallings Stadium at Elm Street Park is the new home of the Little League Softball World Series as of 2020. Stallings Stadium has also played host to several state and regional tournaments, including the Little League Baseball Tournament of State Champions for both the 8-10 and 9-11 year old divisions. The stadium includes more than 230 stadium-style chair back seats, an additional 400 spectators in right field bleachers, standing-room and lawn chair seating for over 1,000 spectators, two below-ground dugouts, two permanent electronic scoreboards in their outfield, a full-service press box, permanent lighting, concessions stand, playgrounds, and ample parking.

Greenville Convention Center Campus represents the largest partnership of meeting and exhibit facilities in Eastern North Carolina and the largest convention center east of I-95. The GCC Campus facilities and staff combine to form the epitome of unrivaled convenience, service, and experience. The GCC Campus offers 91,000 square feet of flexible campus meeting space, 35 total breakout rooms, 57,000 square feet convention center, 3 premier hotels on site with over 400 rooms, 3 acres of outdoor green space, 2 restaurants and bars on site, and over 85 restaurants and 13 shopping areas within 2 miles. The Greenville Convention Center has hosted the Kukkiwon Cup, New York Dance Alliance, USA Gymnastics regionals, and more.
