Jun 19, 2017

Construction on the new Creve Coeur Soccer Complex inside Creve Coeur Park began in April 2017 and is to be completed in early 2018.

St Louis County has contracted with Paric Corporation for the design-build of this Soccer Complex project to provide 11 new artificial turf fields, parking, field and parking lot lighting, concessions and restrooms and other amenities.

As a component of the Soccer Complex work, a 0.26 mile Section of the Meadow Loop Trail will be closed from Mile Marker 0 south a distance of 0.26 miles for the new southern road entrance to the Soccer Complex. A 0.54 mile length of new relocated trail will constructed for the Loop Meadows Trail that will start at a current Mile 0.26 and reconnect at near current Mile 1.8, going around the southern end of the Soccer Complex.

St Louis County Parks is partnering with Great Rivers Greenways for this relocated trail, trail head amenities, signage and parking included in the Soccer Complex plan.

Meadow Loop Trail prior to construction totaled 2.8 miles. This project will increase the length of this trail to 3.08 miles. New Markers will be installed. Click here for a trail map

During the construction, the Scott Gallagher fields are to remain in operation. Signage has been installed around the Trail system for construction advisory to the public.

There will be no vehicular access to the overlook from Creve Coeur Mill Road during construction.

This page will provide updated details on construction.
