Record 500 Teams Expected at MTS Super-Spike

15 Jul, 2015

MTS Super-Spike, present by Bud Light, is excited to announce that a record 500 teams are officially registered for this weekend's festival event.  This eclipses last year's registration record of 441 teams.

MTS Super-Spike, taking place this Friday, July 17th & Saturday, July 18th at Maple Grove Rugby Park, combines Western Canada's largest outdoor/beach volleyball tournament with a weekend-long concert series, set in a festival atmosphere.  To date, the event has raised over $800,000 in support of the Winnipeg based National Women's Volleyball Team.

The Trews will be headlining MTS Super-Spike's Club Regent Casino & Event Centre Main Stage on Saturday, July 18th, with Moses Mayes and The Family Funk Orchestra headlining on Friday, July 17th.
Although tournament/team registration is now closed, weekend long concert and festival passes for non-tournament participants are still available and can be purchased on-line at www.superspike.ca for only $35.00.

The detailed event schedule including band times is now available and attached, along with an event FAQ. Any media outlets who wish to cover the event, are asked to contact greg@superspike.ca to have advance accreditation left for them at the front gate /will call.

No public are allowed to park at the Maple Grove Rugby Park festival site due to limited parking capacity.  Please visit http://www.superspike.ca/venue/parking/ for detailed information on the park and ride.
