USA Volleyball Open National Championships at the Kentucky Exposition Center

The USA Volleyball Open National Championships comes to the Kentucky Exposition Center May 24-29. With more than 5,000 players and 492 teams, the tournament is expected to generate more than $4.2 million in economic impact for Louisville.

The competition runs Friday, May 24-Wednesday, May 29, 8 a.m.-8 p.m. each day in the North Wing, East Hall and South Wings AB of the Kentucky Exposition Center. This event is free and open to the public. Parking is $8 per vehicle.

The USA Volleyball Open National Championships have 33 championship brackets, offering competitions for skill level participation, age group and height-limited competition for men and women. Anyone 18 and over can compete in these open divisions. Age group competition ranges from 40-and- over for men and women to the men’s 76-and over-division. There will be two co-ed divisions, two height-restricted divisions and one Special Olympics National Unified division.

This year the USA Volleyball Open National will feature its first ever sitting volleyball division.

Sitting volleyball is a fast-pace discipline that can be played by anyone with no restrictions on age, gender, ability or disability.
