Heartland Soccer Association, the leader in youth soccer leagues and tournament organization in the United States, is thrilled to announce the commencement of its highly anticipated 2023 Fall League, set to take place during the weekend of August 11-13. This season, Heartland Soccer proudly boasts an extraordinary record-breaking participation of nearly 1,400 teams, comprising over 30,000 players between the ages of 9 and 19. As a driving force behind youth soccer development, this league has solidified Kansas City's reputation as the Soccer Capital of America.

Renowned for its commitment to excellence, Heartland Soccer provides a remarkable playing experience at four world-class turf facilities. The venues include the prestigious Scheels Overland Park Soccer Complex and Garmin Olathe Soccer Complex, in addition to the state-of-the-art Compass Minerals Sporting Fields and Swope Soccer Village.

Heartland Soccer welcomes players of all skill levels, embracing both recreational and premier level players and teams from across the Midwest. With over 170 different soccer clubs competing annually, the league ensures that players and teams have ample opportunities to compete against opponents of similar ability at every age level.

Shane Hackett, Heartland Soccer's executive director, expressed his excitement for the upcoming Fall season, stating, "I was a little surprised to see the record number of teams registering for league.  Our goal was to maintain our current numbers as the league has been running at close to full capacity for our four complexes.   We continue to see growth in the younger age groups and more teams traveling to Kansas City to experience our world class facilities and play teams from around the Midwest.  We extend a warm welcome to all our players, coaches, referees, and parents, as they return to the soccer complexes.”

In addition to the highly regarded league play, Heartland Soccer proudly hosts 14 exceptional tournaments annually. These tournaments attract an impressive lineup of over 3,300 teams and 44,000 youth players from 16 states, including Texas, Minnesota, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Iowa, South Dakota, Wisconsin, Colorado, and Illinois, as well as Canada.
