FIVB Volleyball Nations League Coming to Chicago

The 2019 FIVB Volleyball Nations League (VNL) Final Round will be held on July 10-14 at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC).

The FIVB Volleyball Nations League is the international federation’s top annual indoor volleyball competition. This year's Finals teams include Brazil, Iran, Russia, France, Poland and the United States. Find the most up-to-date schedule here. 

July 10 – Pool Play
Brazil vs Poland @ 4:00pm (Pool B)
USA vs France @ 7:30pm (Pool A)

July 11 – Pool Play
Iran vs Poland @ 5:00pm (Pool B)
Russia vs France @ 8:00pm (Pool A)

July 12 – Pool Play
Brazil vs Iran @ 5:00pm (Pool B)
USA vs Russia @ 8:00pm (Pool A)

July 13 - Semifinals
Pool A Winner vs Pool B 2nd Place @ 5:00pm
Pool B Winner vs Pool A 2nd Place @ 8:00pm

July 14 – Final
Loser SF1 vs Loser SF2 @ 3:00pm
Winner SF1 vs Winner SF2 @ 6:00pm

 

The U.S. Men took bronze in the inaugural edition of the VNL Final Round in 2018, sweeping Brazil in the third-place match. Russia beat France to win the gold medal.

The FIVB Volleyball Nations League is the international federation’s top annual volleyball competition and features 16 national teams per gender. As hosts, the U.S. Men have an automatic berth in the Final Round. They will be joined by the top five finishers after the Preliminary Round, which began last weekend for men’s teams.
