Some of the sports world's top coaches will be sharing their expertise during Club Med Sandpiper Bay's Body & Mind Weeks, now through June 3 in Port St. Lucie, according to Travel Weekly.

Leading a roster of more than 20 internationally renowned coaches across a variety of sports in dedicated sessions are Gabe Jaramillo, tennis director, who has trained eight No. 1 and 27 top 10-ranked players (including Andre Agassi, Pete Sampras, Jim Courier, Monica Seles, Maria Sharapova and Kei Nishikori); Matt DeJohn, golf swing coach, who has won two individual NCAA Division I golf tournaments and had seven top 10 finishes; Albert Hannemann, director of volleyball and a U.S. Olympic Festival gold medalist; and Sergio Rios, soccer coach and a former member of Colombia's national team. Daily group lessons are included in the rates; guests can purchase a package to include private coaching.

This is the second year that Club Med has rolled out the Body & Mind Weeks, with sports programming every day featuring tennis, golf, beach volleyball and fitness. Daily group lessons, social tournaments, exhibitions by the Pros and cocktail hours with them are all part of the program.

The wellness weeks also include nutrition seminars, cooking sessions, guided yoga/meditation and relaxation, including a spa event once a week led by L'Occitane Spa therapists.

During Body and Mind Weeks, Club Med Sandpiper Bay's partnership with FitBodies will make its debut by adding yoga classes each day, taught by FitBodies guest instructors, to the current daily schedule. In addition to the land sports, guests have complimentary access to sailing, kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding. Waterskiing is available too, at an additional cost.

There is no minimum stay to participate in the programming during Body & Mind Weeks, and coaching is designed to meet each guest at his or her level.

Club Med Sandpiper Bay is a 45-minute drive from West Palm Beach and less than a two-hour drive from Miami and Orlando. The multisport resort boasts 20 tennis courts, an 18-hole golf course and several sports academies.
