Visit Panama City Beach is looking ahead to summer 2019 with great anticipation, with plans to open its world-class Panama City Beach Sports Complex managed by Sports Facilities Management (SFM). The brand-new $37 million complex will offer visitors on ‘play-cation’ a place to enjoy multiple sports and activities including soccer on its 13-field complex. Destined to be the center of soccer in the southeast, Panama City Beach will host over 700 soccer teams for more than 15 tournaments beginning in August.

“Panama City Beach’s new Sports Complex will become the ultimate destination for soccer in the southeast,” shares SFM General Manager of the Panama City Beach Sports Complex J.D. Wood. “As a full-service venue with 13 new fields including two new championship fields, we are excited to start off with a large lineup of new soccer events and look forward to all the new visitors and teams coming to Panama City Beach in 2019-2020 and beyond.” Wood adds; “With US Youth Soccer, Soccer Skills Unlimited, Bay United, Soccer By Design, Arnold High School, YTH Sports and SNAP Soccer, we are so fortunate to have some outstanding partners helping to develop an event calendar that will bring a lot of new visitors and do so much for our local economy in the non-summer months with National, State and Regional soccer events.”

In addition to soccer, the Panama City Beach Sports Complex’s flexible design will also allow for lacrosse, rugby, football, baseball, softball and almost any other event you can think of. Details of the opening including special festivities for Bay County residents will be announced closer to August.

“We, at Soccer Skills Unlimited, have been organizing and running events for 20 years. We have never been more excited to have secured a place at this complex. It looks to be the "State of The Art Facility for Florida". Can't wait to get started!!” -Jeff Pinteralli, President of Soccer Skills Unlimited

“SBD Event Management is excited to be on the ground floor of one the new outstanding sports complexes in the South. Panama City Beach will be the perfect host for our two events- Surf ’N Turf Classic to be held in October 2019, and The Emerald Coast Invitational to be held in March of 2020” -Brent Paulson, Chief Strategic Officer of SBD Event Management

"The team at Snap Soccer is very excited to be working with JD and everyone else at the Panama City Beach Sports Complex. We have built a reputation of running some of the best and most organized soccer events in the area, but the one the biggest areas we succeed in is choosing outstanding venues. We feel the PCBSC will be a great addition, as one of those venues that stands out from the others" -Zack Touchstone, Director of Operations for Snap Soccer

“The Panama City Beach Sports Complex is the perfect location for our inaugural Soccer Youth All-American Series. Our event features some of the most talented players from all over the nation.
