Greater Orlando Sports Commission: It's College Bowl Season

The Greater Orlando Sports Commission doesn’t want you to miss out on great college football! Here are the events coming up.

 

The FAMU Rattlers are headed to the Cricket Celebration Bowl for the first time! The Cricket Celebration Bowl features the conference champions from the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) and the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC). The event’s mission is to provide the schools, alumni, fans, and sponsors with a first-class bowl experience while continuing to celebrate the heritage, legacy, pageantry and tradition of Historically Black Colleges and Universities. Tune in on Saturday, December 16 at noon on ABC.

 

The 2023 Avocados from Mexico Cure Bowl will feature Appalachian State and Miami (Ohio) at FBC Mortgage Stadium. Kickoff in Orlando is set for Saturday, December 16 at 3:30 p.m., airing live on ABC and simulcasted on ESPN+. More than a game, the Cure Bowl honors and empowers the men and women who are living with cancer today, have overcome cancer, as well as those who may face it tomorrow.

 

The UCF Knights have accepted an invitation to the 2023 Gasparilla Bowl in Tampa! UCF will face Georgia Tech on Friday, December 22 at 6:30 p.m. UCF has already sold out of their institutional ticket allotment, but tickets are still available for purchase through the Gasparilla Bowl website. The game will also be broadcast live by ESPN.

 

The 2023 Pop-Tarts Bowl will feature the Kansas State Wildcats and the North Carolina State Wolfpack at Orlando's Camping World Stadium! The game will kick off at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday, December 28 and will air live on ESPN.

 

The 2023 Cheez-It Bowl will feature the Iowa Hawkeyes and the Tennessee Volunteers at Orlando's Camping World Stadium! The game will kick off at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 1 and will air live on ABC.
